Splash of colour

YO!

This week I have got creative and dip dyed , tie dyed and bleached a few t shirts , a shirt and a pair of shorts!

Dip died t -shirts:

all I did to make these was fill up two buckets of dye (pink and blue) and simply dipped the top half of the t shirt in the blue bucket and left a space then dipped the bottom half in the pink bucket.

I teamed my bullet necklace with the  t shirt for a casual daytime look

The wombats t shirt

I got a bit bored with my wombats t shirt so I decided to spruce it up and tie dye it! I simply pinched the centre of the t shirt and wrapped elastic bands around the shirt to create the pattern. I then placed it in the blue bucket for around 15 minutes then put in the pink bucket overnight for the pattern to take shape.

These are perfect for festivals and holiday wear shame I didn't make some beforehand! I shall defiantly still be wearing these throughout the year!

Suppppp

due to having so much free time on my hands  I decided to alternate a few clothes and experiment with my creative side.

I have  been wanting a new play -suit for agessss so I decided to make my own as it would be cheaper and and the easiest thing to do.

Therefore  I took a journey to my favourite charity shop Salvation army and bought a lovely oversized Men's shirt. As you can see the main colours that run through it are blue , brown and cream perfect for the winter!

How I did it:

1. cut off the sleeves and roll them up to create shape

2. cut a line through the middle of the shirt to create the shorts , I personally prefer to roll the ends of the shorts so that they match the arm holes , but its your choice

3. sew in-between to make the shorts

4. add a belt around the waist so that the play-suit doesn't appear to baggy

I hope that my easy method was useful! I personally like to wear my play-suit with bare legs , thick socks and docs for a easy going , fun look :)

I shall be posting more clothes that I have either alternated or made shortly after my trip to Scotland , stay tuned!

Many thanks

Friday's Face: Amy #6

Face. Foundation- Foundation/ Vivo in Natural sand, Concealer/ Collection 2000 in Fair, Lipstick/ Natural collection in Krimson. My skin is so bad..

By the time you are reading this post. I will be heading to the Isle of Wight for the weekend. Hopefully Immie will still keep you entertained.

Shockenly my hair is natural... NATURAL!! Yes the frizz has returned, once tight curls. Now a frizzy, burnt mess due to all the products and heat I place on it. My hat saves the day though... My eyes are closed because I'm so tired!!! I have just realised that I don't even have any mascara on. The scarifices I have to make for a 5 hour car journey.

So thats my final post for the weekend.
Have fun, stay safe.
Thanks dolls

Aup gang!

Tomorrow I am going out for a birthday meal and this is what I plan to wear , I have recently been to France , when I was there I came across this beautiful knee length blue polka dot dress. It was originally 110 euros but I was extremely fortunate and managed to grab it in the sale for only 44! it is officially my favourite dress as you can dress it up and down. It is also very comfortable and easy just to slip on. I teamed this dress with some beige and cream strappy wedges from the gorgeous brand that is Bertie. I always think that brown and blue go so well
